Terms and Conditions
- Access to data will only be granted following submission of a proposal and formal approval by the CATs Aphasia Dataset Management Committee.
- Data can only be accessed for the agreed duration stated in the project proposal submitted to the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs) Data Management Committee.
- Analyses may not be undertaken and/or published or reported to an outside group without the knowledge and approval of the CATs Data Management Committee.
- Any abstracts or manuscripts should be reviewed by the Data Management Committee prior to submission for publication. This applies to both national and international publications.
- Any abstracts or manuscripts published or reported will be included by CATs as Collaboration Activity in their report to the Tavistock Trust for Aphasia.
- Inadvertent un-blinding of any individual study in an internal report may not be perpetuated in any subsequent publication.
- Any publication arising through CATs analyses should be accompanied by the authorship by-line ‘on Behalf of the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs)’. CATs should also be mentioned in the acknowledgements section.
- CATs may contact collaborators following the analysis period to enquire about the status of publication, and to gauge any improvements which can be made to the resource.
