Measurement Instruments by Language

The availability of language assessments for people with aphasia can be problematic depending on the language spoken.  Here we profile the work undertaken to date on the development or adaptation of assessment tools for people with aphasia in different languages. Our aim is to reduce the risk of developing parallel adaptations of an assessment tool in the same language and to support researchers to build on and develop existing work. Profiling these assessment tools is not an endorsement of any kind. The quality of the tools profiled vary widely and caution should be applied in reviewing their validity and reliability before using them in clinical or research settings. This page is regularly updated, and reflects a work in progress.
